Dragan Zdravkovic CV

 

Born in Belgrade in 1969.

 

Professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade.

 

 

Education

 

MFA Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade, 1999

BFA Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Arts in Belgrade, 1994

 

Member of Serbian Artist Union since 1996.

 

 

Professional experience

 

1995 - 97 he held courses and organized the School for Graphic Arts in Belgrade

 

Since 1996 he conducts the painting program at the School of Visual Arts, at the BK university, Belgrade

 

1998 - 2000 he taught painting in a high school of arts (School of arts and crafts, Belgrade)

 

In 2003 he held a seminar ‘On scenography’ in the Amphitheater of the Faculty of Architecture, Belgrade.

 

As part of the program Outside / Belgrade 2002  he taught a painting workshop entitled Cultural Heritage: Byzantine Icon in Belgrade’s Gallery of Frescoes. This program was organized for students of the Studio Art Centers International (SACI) - Florence. (October 30 - November 6, 2002)

 

In 2004 he taught painting program at the Studio Art Centers International (SACI) - Florence

 

Winner of the award for best mosaic of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Belgrad 1993.

 

Since 1999 he has been leading the restoration works in the Russian orthodox church in Belgrade.

 

He is a founding member of a non governmental organization for international student exchange CMUS (Centar for International Studies of Art).

 

He exhibited his work in eight personal exhibitions and in over 30 group shows in Yugoslavia, Italy and Portugal.

 

His works are part of several museum collections: National museum in Vranje, Serbia; Museo de gravura - Douro, Portugal; Museum of the city of Mladenovac, Serbia.

 

He is the auhor of scenography in a number of theater plays that are preseneted in major theaters in Belgrade.

His paintings are part of private collections in Yugoslavia, France, Italy, Brazil, USA, Japan, Portugal, Switzerland and Greece.
